CULTIVATED BY HERITAGE | DEFINED BY FLAVOUR

Our Story
We’re Predrag and Amy, the couple behind Seed & Stem.
Our roots begin far apart. Predrag grew up in Istria, Croatia, surrounded by Mediterranean flavours, wild truffles and a family of cooks and food lovers. Amy was raised in Albury, on the Murray River, where community and the abundance of local produce shaped every meal.
Life drew us both to Sydney, where we built careers in finance. But city life left us longing for something more grounded, something we could nurture with our hands and share at the table.
That spark ignited the day we tasted Annette and Nevil’s heirloom tomatoes in Selbourne. The flavour was extraordinary, rich, complex and alive. We knew we’d discovered something worth protecting.
When the chance came to carry on the legacy of their farm, we didn’t hesitate. What began as a love of flavour has become our way of life: caring for the soil, tending each plant and offering food that tastes as it should.

Tomato Farm
For more than sixteen years, this patch of Northern Tasmanian red soil has been home to over 300 rare heirloom tomato varieties, cherished by chefs, market-goers and food lovers across Australia.
Today, we’re proud to continue that story. Our mission is simple, keep heirloom tomatoes tasting like heirloom tomatoes. Rich, colourful, aromatic and full of character.
We grow naturally and with respect for the land. No chemicals, just biological practices that build soil health and let every plant reach its full depth of flavour. It’s a flavour first approach that honours the farm’s roots while looking to the future.
This season we’ve expanded our plantings to bring more varieties to markets, restaurants and homes across the country. We can’t wait for you to taste them and love them as much as we do.
